Monte NZJuly 27, 2017 at 10:19 pm #62290What do you mean by correct transfer? Are you referring to the line from the tank to the carb?

classicomctools@gmail.comJuly 27, 2017 at 10:31 pm #62291I think he is looking for decals.
The clubs Ships Store has them in vinyl .July 28, 2017 at 9:37 am #62308Thanks Richard and Tubs for your replies.
Yes, it’s the Elto transfer that goes on the back of the tank that I am after………I’m no familiar with accessing Ship’s Stores, but will try my luck.Monte NZ
July 28, 2017 at 2:03 pm #62323The Ships Store isn’t on line.
The items they have are listed
in the back of the Outboarder
Magazine.July 28, 2017 at 2:25 pm #62326The early Ruddertwins apparently had a decal in shades of green and yellow. I don’t think the one in the photos was blue and has faded. Also, note that it is not a block decal with ELTO in the block. It’s a cutout decal.
I haven’t seen any reproductions that come close to this one. I would like to know the text of the tank top decals so as to try to reproduce them. If anyone has clearer photos of the top decal, please let me know.

July 28, 2017 at 9:23 pm #62340Thanks Tubs and Tom for your replies and thanks Tubs for "jogging" my memory re the Book Store in the back of the magazine.
Looking at your photos Tom, I don’t see any sign of any coloured "background" in the original on your tank and wonder why replacements are’t the same?I wonder if you could very carefully cut round the lettering?
The two instruction transfers on the top of the tank look in pretty good condition on your motor, but
I will certainly keep my eyes open down here in case I do find some good examples that could be copied.Monte NZ

I certainly wish that motor was mine, that’s one that was for sale a while ago, with the carrying case. Way out of my league.
