I have been sitting here patiently for days waiting to see my name in red. AHOY MATE there it is, I am a full fledged, dues payin, no nothing member. Now on to the hallowed inner sanctum. Wait, whats this, nuttin called inner sanctum that I can see! Ok I am sure it is easy to get to but unless I can plug it into my GPS system I am lost. It is like trying to find blackbeards treasure. Can one of you please help me find this bastion of knowledge?

classicomctools@gmail.comAugust 10, 2017 at 12:03 pm #62768This web site has way to many crazy terms like "white board", "green board"….Too many different sections, tough to keep up with all of it…
August 10, 2017 at 12:37 pm #62770Interesting you still consider the Green board and the Blue board as one website when in fact they are not one, they are 2 completely separate sites.
The Blue board came into play when the Original site, affectionately called the Green board because of its green background, crashed hard. Former Webmaster Chris Eichrodt, I believe, started this second site, which has a blue background, and it is called the Blue boards. They are not the same and only connected thru a link from one to the other.
This might just be the source of confusion to some members, and is the exact reason why you must log onto each site separately, but can if known, use the same username and password.
Most assume once logged into one that the other is automatic. It is not. This issue should be alleviated once the Council gets things dialed in with whatever they come up with.
Respectfully
Richard White

classicomctools@gmail.comAugust 10, 2017 at 1:19 pm #62773I’ve never gained access to the "green" site but agree that overall the AOMCI web presence is somewhat confusing to a newcomer–various different places to post and the boundaries are not obvious.

classicomctools@gmail.comAugust 10, 2017 at 2:59 pm #62782I have tried to get into the "greenboard" and it asks for my username and Password. I type them both in hit enter and it just brings me back to user name and password.

Probably they can be the same but they have to be set up specifically for the "green" board.
