Well, my pictures turned out awful of the area behind the exhaust. Also having trouble uploading what I have . (Iphone nonsense in all probability) There is one square acess panel on each cyl. that is blocked off with a plate and a screw in each corner. I’m not sure what that is all about, in contrast to Tubs’ picture.
I thought I knew something about these motors…..
last week I was writing about an Evinrude Mate and was stumped… and now this!
…. I have to admit I’m having fun!
I’ll try to upload the other pictures

That is where the numbers should be so
knowing that the high speed Speedster
had aluminum connecting rods that were
known to fail I would "speculate" you have
the remaining parts from a H Speedster
that had a catastrophic failure, a factory
            replacement block, and possibly some
            other factory replacement or parts
cannibalized from another motor. Or could
be somebody’s Hot Rod or competition
motor built to out perform the stock motors.
Not having all the correct parts takes away
from its historic as wall as its monetary
value but has no negative effect on the
enjoyment that you will get from running
            one of these.
