KB-3, KD-3 and KE-3 routed cooling water differently. First year K-1 and K-2 did not have spark plug covers. KE-3 had cowling without spark plug covers.

Spark plug covers have limited space, compact spark plug MA& be required as well as small ignition wire boot.

Of course, all the models had to be different, lol.

I messed around with the tell – tale, and found a way,
as previous mentioned, to route the plumbing inside of the
spark plug cup, and out the bottom hole.

The may not be “correct”, but it should work, and I didn’t
        have to modify the cover.

I went with 1/4″ tubing. Hopefully that size will allow for
adequate water flow to cool the cylinder……. the tell – tale
is the only water “outlet” that I’m aware of.

Hey Buccaneer, yes they are repos. Both the same so I had to do some mods for the water pipe. Little bit of grinding. He also makes the recoil covers for the Johnson Javeline.

That motor was siezed pretty hard. I eventually got it unstuck. Couple replaced pistons and new rings I have 100 lbs on both cylinders. I expect it will go up after I run it.

it did turn out quite nice.

Tom Thuerwachter or Ferguson poole has reproduction rubber gaskets available.

I had to trim mine a little to fit with a sharp X-acto knife.

                        Fifty20one, Thanks for the photos!
It looks like I got my plumbing about right.
I have to come up with a new terminal and grommet
for the plug wire, and I can see how it works out.
