So im well aware of the fact these impellers have been NLA for many years. I currently have a NOS impeller for it, but to be honest, I’m not too thrilled about a piece of rubber that is 70 years old. I’ve checked the web for info, very little to be had. My question is, is there a common 6 vane impeller with a 3/4″ bore that would work instead? If it involves a bit of trimming, I’m well suited for that, as I’m a machinist. The NOS impeller cost me $100, and that’s just not going to be sustainable. What do you guys typically do for direct reversing motors?

With all these links my response would disappear for sure so I’ll post them individually. Brian Wilcox can make a replacement for some motors if you have the old center.  Email-  Baron0418@att.net  – the b must be capitalized

At the end of this recent discussion there are some comments about trimming down impellers. Being a machinist you may be able to bore out the center and make an insert.   https://www.aomci.org/forums/topic/1953-corsair-firestone-10-hp-impeller-swap/
