Yea, I discovered people don’t like that motor after I bought it. I got it for $100 so it really doesn’t owe me much. I found and performed the service bulletin to, I guess, fix the cooling problems but that project stalled when I got the wrong points. I then ordered the lawnmower electronic ignition modules only to later discover they don’t work with flywheels with two magnets. So, I never installed them. If you could point me toward any instruction on a way to convert that motor to electronic I’d greatly appreciate it. Otherwise I’ll just stone the points and get what I can out of it. The mag plate seems solid. I don’t think that motor was ever used much.
