      Again PM T2 Nice motors. Thanks for sharing. Is the one on the left a partial restore or a pristine original? Looks like a runner. The other one looks like a fantastic barn find waiting for a clean up/tune up?

        Here is my Senior Speedster or so I’m told? Has original fuel shut off in its position as odd as that looks. No P on this one & I assume a 1930 model? She is complete & waiting patiently for me to start. Well missing the tiller handle & grip!

          Dan;

          I think you have a 905 Special Speedster not a Senior Speedster

            OH, and how Special is it? I have been told not a barn burner. I guess I do remember it being a Special now that you mention it Fred. Oh well. Maybe I can find a Quad flywheel for it? I hear that advances the timing? Hey Richard White you cutting any key ways in flywheels?
            I am a long way from needing that!

                Correction on 300.
                Should be 310 1930-32, 361 1933, 365 1934

                  Fred is correct, you have an Elto Special Speedster. The first year it was available was 1932, and 1932-33 was the entire life span of the model 905.

                  It used the same dual-knob flywheel as the Quad. They are a different sort of Elto. They are rated at 12 HP but some say a good 7 HP Service Speedster will outrun it.

                  Here is one that is owned by Rick Eichrodt

                  Hope it helps.

                  Best,
                  PM T2

                    IIRC, the powerhead is half of a 50 cubic inch 1929 Hi-speed Quad. It’s been a while, but I think mine has aluminum pistons and rods. I got it from Mr Elto as a project when he was moving from Unadilla to the UP.

                        Well PM T2 we’re keeping the thread going. All over the place, but it’s going! Sorry for sorta high jacking things, but I did forget mine was a Special. I have another motor I’m not sure about, but got to get a decent picture.
