Just curious…by whom and what year was the last model opposed twin. I’ve got a 1950 PO-15…there cannot be too much after 1950???

Interesting question Mas, as I have a 1950 PO-15 also.
Maybe if they’re the last year for the opposed twin
        they’re worth more? 🙂

          Maybe the Peterborough produced OK-20?

Mas, OMC built an opposed engine in their snowmobiles up into the seventy’s. 437cc would that make a class C outboard? I often wondered if any parts would interchange with the outboards. There were people that could make them (snowmobile) go!

                  .
                  Volvo-Penta outboard model U-22 ,
                  😮
it was the last upgrade of the Archimedes / Penta model B-22 / PA-120, 12 hp
one of their best sold models, produced and successfully launched in the early 30ies.
this model U-22 was produced between 1973 and 1979
mostly sold in the South-African area

                  😉

Did OMC build a Cushman motor which was an air cooled opposed? Mid seventies or so twin going thru clutch and gearbox.

OK…Hands down the U-22 probably beats all…so what about american outboards? What was the last Evinrude/Johnson opposed twin?

The last opposed Johnson has to be the 1950 model PO-15 22 HP that you have.
Here is my PO-15 that’s just a couple years earlier. It now has the correct tiller (short version) with twist-throttle, replacing the piece of oak shown below:
