      Yeah, a 250 on a KG7 tower! Been looking for one for my rat boat. Scarce as hen’s teeth. 😥

            How do I know whether the motor has a phelon mag or not?

              look under the mag. if you see the bottom of the coil it is Bendix. if the coil wires go thru the mag plate it is phelon.

                I have had good luck with either mag system Doesn’t get much better,
