Thanks Bob. I have the manual, just not a parts list.
BTW, that link does not work.

        UPDATE:
I took a closer look at the reeds. There was a piece of dirt holding the reed open slightly. I blew out the dirt and they are all flat now. Also ordered the gaskets and the bottom seal. Am I going to have to split the block to put the seal in?

        Hope this works.
        Thanks again for your help.

I guess it was blue and dull aluminum that year.

                quote Chris_P:

I would highly recommend changing the lower crank seal while you are working on it. Water is usually getting in there or the exhaust gasket.

Chris_P What do you mean by lower crank seal? Are you referring the gasket between the power head and the exhaust tube?

Made the same mistake myself. Need to study more on Gale products I guess!

damn…I took the power head off looking for it. Now I gotta buy the two gaskets for that. LOL Live and learn. No harm done.
                      Thank you for your help

                        Bill,
Sorry for the run down the rabbit hole. But be good to have all new gaskets anyway. Keeps us posted on progress.
